Our Headmaster, Jay Subramanian

Mr. Jay is an educational leader with more than 15 years of experience leading highly prestigious institutions, including The English School, Colegio Los Nogales, and Instituto Educativo Olinca.

Throughout his career, he has led multidisciplinary teams and driven institutional transformation, strengthened academic excellence, and overseen international accreditation processes, including CIS, NEASC, and IB standards. His leadership has been distinguished by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and promoting the highest standards of educational quality.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Madras, a Master’s degree in International Business from London South Bank University, and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) with a specialization in Educational Leadership from Acacia University.

His academic background combines the analytical mindset of engineering, a strategic approach to management and organizational leadership, and deep expertise in educational leadership. This unique combination has enabled him to lead innovative institutions committed to academic excellence, the holistic development of their students, and a truly global vision of education.

Our Deputy Headmaster, John Morales

Dr. John Morales holds a Doctorate in Education and Curriculum and brings more than 20 years of experience leading academic initiatives in educational institutions across Colombia and the United States. Throughout his career, he has combined strategic leadership as a curriculum development expert, Academic Director, Division Principal, and Head of School in bilingual institutions with a strong background in research and higher education teaching.

Dr. Morales has led the development and strengthening of bilingual academic programs at both the national and international levels, as well as institutional accreditation processes with AdvancED and Cambridge. He is a recognized speaker at national and international conferences on bilingualism and language education, including the Tri-Association Annual Educators’ Conference held in Mexico City, Seattle (USA), and Puerto Rico.

In addition to earning his Doctorate in Curriculum and Bilingual Education from the University of Granada, Spain, Dr. Morales has completed the Teaching for Understanding program at Harvard Graduate School of Education. He also holds two master’s degrees—one in English Language Teaching and another in English Linguistics—as well as a specialization in Educational Management.

In his free time, Dr. Morales enjoys working with students, reading, spending time with his family, and playing chess.
