Frequently asked questions

We have all school cycles, from kindergarten to high school. We receive children from 12 months of age in August (month in which the school year begins).

We are calendar B, we start the school year in August and end the year during the first week of June. Vacations during recess week, Christmas and Easter are taken as normal.

Starting in K4, our students begin their English language training, in addition to offering them multiple real immersion experiences. We work rigorously to obtain a C1 level of English in all our students at the end of their experience with our educational project. Additionally, we offer alternatives for learning Mandarin as a foreign language.

At Vermont School we apply a comprehensive methodology that combines a social-emotional approach, the development of critical thinking and research-based inquiry. Through the RULER program, we strengthen emotional intelligence, helping our students to manage their emotions and build healthy relationships.

Our curriculum promotes critical thinking, encouraging autonomy, reflection and creativity from the earliest years. In addition, with the International Baccalaureate (IB), we encourage inquiry and research, preparing students to analyze, question and generate innovative solutions to the challenges of today’s world. This combination guarantees deep, meaningful learning with global impact.

The well-being of our students is fundamental to their learning. We have a food plant that meets the highest quality standards and is managed by a team of professionals in nutrition, food engineering and cooking. Our food service guarantees balanced and adequate menus for each stage of growth. In addition, we promote a culture of wellness and healthy choices, teaching students to understand the importance of nutrition in their integral development.

At Vermont School we provide our students with diverse international experiences that enrich their academic and cultural formation. Through programs such as exchanges, academic, athletic and artistic immersions, as well as the International Baccalaureate (IB), students have the opportunity to explore new environments, hone their language skills and develop a global vision. These experiences prepare them to face the challenges of the world with an open mind and a high-level education.
