Por eso, hoy queremos contarte todo sobre el International General Certificate of Secundary Education (IGCSE), uno de nuestros programas internacionales m\u00e1s importantes.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #444444\">El IGCSE es un diploma internacionalmente reconocido por universidades y empresas que se otorga al final del \u00faltimo a\u00f1o de secundaria que certifica una s\u00f3lida base acad\u00e9mica y permite a que los estudiantes contin\u00faen con \u00e9xito sus estudios. El programa IGCSE es un curso flexible que permite a nuestros estudiantes elegir 3 de 6 materias del curso, siendo ingl\u00e9s, matem\u00e1ticas y ciencias obligatorias, mientras que las 3 restantes son seleccionadas a partir de de la personalidad, los intereses y los objetivos universitarios y profesionales de cada estudiantes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\n  <!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vermontmedellin.edu.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/2025\/02\/Captura-de-pantalla-2021-05-18-a-las-11_08_30-a_-m_-1.png\" alt=\"Captura de pantalla 2021-05-18 a la(s) 11.08.30 a. m.\" width=\"837\" style=\"width: 837px;margin: 0px auto\"><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #444444\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">En el Vermont School contamos con esta certificaci\u00f3n otorgada por Cambridge desde el 2010. Durante este periodo se ha certificado el 98% de nuestro egresados quienes han tenido la oportunidad de acceder a becas nacionales como la Universidad de La Sabana, EAFIT y CES, e internacionales como Durham University y American University.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #444444\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Lee<\/span> <span><a href=\"\/de-vesmun-a-durham\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #3574e3;text-decoration: underline\">de VESMUN a Durham University <\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #444444\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">El programa incluye y eval\u00faa proyectos y ejercicios escritos, orales y pr\u00e1cticos en ingl\u00e9s, esto permite a los estudiantes mostrar habilidades en su segunda lengua. Por eso en nuestro colegio desde preescolar hasta grado 10\u00ba los estudiantes cuentan con el m\u00e1s alto est\u00e1ndar mundial en desarrollo acad\u00e9mico a trav\u00e9s de la implementaci\u00f3n del programa de la Universidad de Cambridge.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #444444\">Muchas universidades internacionales, especialmente las brit\u00e1nicas, requieren el diploma IGCSE en su proceso de admisi\u00f3n.
